General Introduction of a Stationary Concrete Batching Plant

A concrete batching plant combines components like sand, water, rocks, gravel, cement, fly ash and potash so as to produce concrete. The stationary concrete plant can be a ready mix plant or a central mix plant although it is not movable. The plant can have parts and accessories like: mixers, aggregate batchers, cement batchers, radial stackers, conveyors, cement bins, aggregate bins, chillers, heaters, batch plant controls, cement silos, and dust collectors.

Stationary Plants

Stationary batching plants are used to produce different kinds of concrete that includes hard concrete and quaking concrete suitable for medium and large-scale building works, bridge works, road works, precast concrete plants, and more. Both ready and central mix modern plants employ a computer aided control that assists the users to produce fast and accurate measurements of input components as well as coordinate the various plant parts and accessories for a safe operation.

Important features of a stationary concrete batching plant:
A main mixer that has two setting parts: manual work and host cleaning.  A ladder and platform on repair and maintenance parts of the batching plant to make it easy for checking or fixing. A fully enclosed aggregate conveyor belt and platform floor structure, to ensure operations are always carried out despite the weather. A belt extension that adapts the heavy vertical structure to eliminate the concrete mixing station adjustment operation process. A closed form belt machine that prevents elements from scattering everywhere during the production process.

Usually, the mixer is placed at the center of the batching plants. The mixer comes in three types; Pan, tilt and twin shaft mixer. The tilt mixer provides consistent mix with less maintenance cost and labor while the twin shaft mixer ensures an even concrete mixture and a large output. The plants come in various capacities that range from approximately 25 cubic meters to 240 cubic meters per an hour of concrete production. It is designed to operate under intense conditions with high performance.
